# UniformHub message house

The single source for every word in the launch kit. Change a line here first, then in the piece that uses it. Every claim must match the app facts sheet, which records what the app actually does (checked against the code on 22 October 2026).

## The basics

- **Name:** UniformHub (one word, capital U and H)
- **What it is:** the marketplace for preloved school uniforms and club sports gear
- **Tagline:** Every school. Every sport. One place.
- **Playful line:** Grown out of it? Someone's growing into it.
- **Sign-off:** Made by parents, for parents.
- **One sentence:** UniformHub is the easy, local way to buy and sell preloved school uniforms and club sports gear: every school and every sport in one place, made by parents for parents.
- **Short paragraph:** Kids grow fast and uniforms aren't cheap. UniformHub puts uniforms from 10,910 Australian schools and club gear for 20 sports in one searchable place. Filter by school or sport, item, size, condition and price; chat to arrange pick-up; and pay securely by card in the app, through Stripe. Listing takes about a minute, fees are shared and kept low, and good gear gets a second life with another local family.
- **Links:** the App Store, https://apps.apple.com/au/app/id6787400499 (free for iPhone and iPad, live since 22 October 2026) · contact@uniformhub.app

## Voice

Warm, quick and a little cheeky, like the funniest parent at school pick-up. Plain Australian English (colour, organise, pick-up, footy, uni). Short sentences. Talk to "you". Jokes come from real school-run moments, never at anyone's expense.

Rules for every piece:
- Only claim what the app does today. No invented numbers, savings figures or user counts.
- Facebook groups and Facebook Marketplace may be named in fair comparisons. The old-way scenes use Facebook's colours and familiar layout (feed cards, Like / Comment / Share, Marketplace picks, Messenger bubbles, red notification counts) so the hassle is instantly recognisable, with made-up people and groups. Never use Facebook, Meta or Messenger logos or wordmarks, and always carry the trademark line.
- Apple's "Download on the App Store" badge and Stripe's "Powered by Stripe" badge are used exactly as supplied (`brand/assets/badges`, via `brand/badges.mjs`). Apple's badge links to UniformHub on the App Store. Our own "Secure checkout" and "Proudly Australian owned" chips sit beside them. Never use the licensed Australian Made logo. No other third-party brands, and no real school or club names in marketing art.
- Every call to action (buttons, links and QR codes) goes to the App Store, so people can download the app. The one exception is the small Android line on the landing page (FAQ and footer only), for people without an iPhone.
- Check every feature claim against app-facts.md, including its "Don't claim" list.
- The blazer and the #8 jersey are the mascots. They act out the messages; the words stay clear without them.

The first version of the script (no Facebook or Stripe, "every club") is in Git history; its voiceover is `video/voice/take-a.mp3`.

The same script is also shot as **the cinematic cut** ("NIGHTLIGHT", `video/explainer-cinema/`): identical words and claims, a dark launch-film treatment. Screen text differs only where this file already allows (the fixed lines above).

### To a school (principal, business manager, uniform shop or P&F)

**Subject options:** A free, year-round uniform swap for [School] families · Preloved [School] uniforms, all in one place

Hi [Name],

I'm [Your name], a [school] parent and one of the people behind UniformHub, a new marketplace for preloved school uniforms and club sports gear, made by parents for parents.

Families can buy and sell [School] uniforms in a couple of taps. They filter by item, size, condition and price, chat in the app to arrange pick-up, and pay securely in the app, so no cash changes hands. Sold items disappear automatically, so everything listed is available.

It works year-round with no stall to staff, no cash tin and no racks to sort, and it costs the school nothing.

Would you be happy to share it with families? I've attached a one-page overview and a short newsletter blurb you can paste straight in. I'm also happy to drop off QR posters for the uniform shop.

Thanks so much,

Members can list outgrown jerseys, boots, hoodies and gear in about a minute, with the club's name on the listing. Other families find it by sport, item and size, sort pick-up in the in-app chat and pay securely in the app. It's an easy win for families before the season starts, and there's nothing for the club to run.

Could you share it with members, maybe at registration or in the next newsletter? A one-pager and a ready-to-paste blurb are attached.

Cheers,
